If you could travel to any place and time for one week, where would you go?

Aside from 'not here and not now' or sometime in the past or future,
the place I want to spend a week long time would be....
.....would  be....
....ummm.....
... I don't know!

Maybe somewhere where I can get some peace, quiet and relaxation.

Note: I did not say 'rest.'

The couple reasons I can list of are that they have less driving experience generally, they don't yet have the sense of theirs car they are driving and that their frontal lobe of the brain has not yet been fully formed so they tend to take more risks and make rash decisions.  BUT I have to say, there are plenty of teenage drivers who are 100% responsible in how they drive and are careful to not get into accidents.  As there are plenty of adults who, even with decades of experience, are terrible drivers.

I wanted to add a picture to show you what I got but failed.

But what I got was one of these.

They're from HP, they're the light weight ultra portable mini notebooks,

also known as netbook.

I got it for basic use for school and stuff, nothing too heavy,

and this works like a gem!

Smaller and lighter than any of my binders and text books,

this is a breeze to carry around, almost literally.

The only thing I would say I'm kind of sad about is that there aren't that many

wallpapers or any other customizing graphics for it with my screen being 1024x526...

Culture QotD: Cultural Differences

What's the biggest cultural difference between you and your significant other?

The difference between my misters culture and mine would be that....mine is a bit more conservative than his.  But aside from that, we have more similarities than differences even though we're from the opposite ends of the world.

But lets keep in mind that when i look at culture, the biggest and most important thing to me is food...luckily, we have the same kinds of food.
